July 22nd, 2019

Dear Dayton Residents,

As you know, the Town of Dayton will be hosting the 8th Annual Dayton Muddler.  The event raises money to benefit Veteran and First Responder wellness.  We will be closing College Street from King Street to Bowman Road beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday August 3rd, until approximately 4 p.m. to thru traffic.  We ask that no cars be parked on the street during this time, however, arrangements can be made for you to exit your driveway and proceed south on College Street.  The officer at the closure signs will allow you to enter and exit the area, but I ask for your patience if it takes longer than normal to enter/exit your residence.  To date we have over 700 participants signed up, with the anticipation of over 1000 by the date of the event.

Dove Park Pavilion and parking lot will be closed to vehicle parking beginning at 5 p.m. Friday August 2nd as vendors will begin to park their vehicles in the lot for Saturdays event preparation.  Any vehicles still in the parking lot will be towed at the owner’s expense.

We apologize for the inconvenience that you may experience during this time.  The Town of Dayton appreciates your understanding.  Please contact me with any concerns.

Thank You,

Justin Trout
