Dayton Days – Autumn Celebration Street Closures

Dear Dayton Residents on Main, Mill, and College Streets,

The 40th Annual Dayton Days / Autumn Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, October 5th. On this date, the following streets will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until approximately 5:00 p.m.

MAIN STREET:                  Mason Street to Eberly Road

COLLEGE STREET:          Main Street to Bowman Road

MILL STREET:                   Main Street to High Street

DINGLEDINE LANE:              Exit to Main Street will be barricaded

Please remove your vehicle(s) from these particular streets by 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, October 5th. Otherwise (and regretfully), vehicles left on the closed streets WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE.

The Dayton United Methodist Church. located at 215 Ashby Street, has generously offered their rear parking lot to residents who must move their vehicles.  You may use their lot beginning on Friday, October 4th after 5:00 p.m.

NOTE:  We ask that your vehicles be removed from their lot by 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th.

Please note that the severe weather date for this event is Saturday, October 12th.  All of the above will apply if that date is needed.
