It is NOT too late to be COUNTED! Respond to the 2020 Census today.
Your response matters! For every person that responds to the Census, it provides for $20,000 in federal money to stay within the local community. Dayton needs everyone to stand up and be counted.
Over the next decade, lawmakers, business owners, and many others will use 2020 Census data to make critical decisions. The results will show where communities need new schools, new clinics, new roads, and more services for families, older adults, and children.
You should have received a reminder (or two) in the mail asking you to respond. This year, you can respond in one of three easy and convenient ways: online, by telephone or by mail.
Please visit the Census Bureau for more information on how to respond.
After the Governor deems it safe to do so, the Census Bureau will be collecting in-person responses from individuals who have not yet responded. If you are interested in a job as a Census Taker, please apply here.
