The 2020 Muddler August 1st
The Muddler (Dayton, VA) — In Partnership with the Harrisonburg Police Foundation
The traditional Muddler is a unique 4-mile muddy adventure course through the historic Town of Dayton.
Participants are known as “Muddlers,” and will encounter a variety of obstacles such as mud pits, walls, cargo net climbs, balance beams, bucket carries, and more woven through the Town of Dayton, our fields, and streams.
Youth Division
Our Traditional Muddler Youth Division returns for children under the age of 15. Children younger than the age of 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN 18 OR OLDER, and this must be certified during registration. There are 2 youth divisions this year. 12-15 and 11-under.
Competitive Individual and Competitive Teams
The competitive category is very competitive. Competitive Individual Waves will go first, followed by the Competitive Team Waves. Teams must consist on at least 5 people with one at least one of the opposite gender, and can only have up to seven members.
Corporate Cup
The Corporate cup has become very popular, so if you are part of a business, put a 5-person team together (at least 1 member of an opposing gender) for a highly competitive event with the winning team holding a trophy and bragging rights for a year!
Open Individual and Teams
The same awesome course (with just more churned up mud) but without the pressure to “keep it rolling” at all times. Yes, all still will be timed and have loads of fun, but just for the FUN OF IT!
All events are timed, and awards are given to the fastest (top three) competitive finishers, male and female.
