The Dayton Town Council will hold a Public Hearing to hear citizen input on the Town’s proposed FY2020-21 Budget, a proposed new Transient Occupancy Tax and an amendment to the License Fee & Tax for Itinerant Merchants & Peddlers.  Following the Public Hearing, Mayor Sam Lee has called a special meeting of the Town Council for the purpose of passing a resolution for support of the water plant upgrade funding application.

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order restricting gatherings of 10 or more people, DO NOT appear in person to the May 27, 2020 Budget Public Hearing or subsequent public meetings until such time as the order is lifted.

Please submit any public comments that you would like to be heard at the hearing or the meeting through the following options:

The public will be invited to listen and may comment during the public comment portion of the meeting by “raising your hand” in the Zoom meeting platform or sending a message to Christa Hall, Clerk (meeting host).

*For comments provided in advance of the hearing, please submit them by 4:00 p.m. on May 27, 2020.  Comments will be read aloud at the meeting. All normal Rules of Procedure will be followed.
