Location:  Town Municipal Building, council chambers, at 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia 22821. 

We will be having a Greenway Subcommittee meeting on Friday, January 18, 2019 at noon on the third floor of the Silver Lake Mill.  We will be looking at a map of the town and plotting the Greenway path.  This way we’re all looking at the same document as we move forward with the Greenway in consonance with future work on sewer, water, side walks and powerlines.  We will also be discussing a vision for the fruit stand and how best to use it as an educational resource for the Greenway.

Please take notice on Monday, January 14, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, VA, the Dayton Town Council and Dayton Planning Commission will conduct a joint public hearing concerning a proposed land subdivision and rezoning for tax map number 107(A)L130A more commonly known as 2323 Silver Lake Road, Dayton, VA.

All interested parties are welcome to attend.  Any request for additional information regarding the land subdivision and rezoning request can be referred to the Dayton Town office located in the Municipal Building Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please take notice that on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 125 B Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia, the Dayton Town Council will conduct a public hearing concerning the proposed vacation or deed by quitclaim of all of the Town of Dayton’s public right of ways and other property interests in land located at or near 290 Mill Street, Dayton, Virginia, Tax Map No. 107D2(A)10, some of which property is known as the Dayton Learning Center. All interested parties are welcome to attend.  Any request for additional information can be referred to the Dayton Town office located at 125 B Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia.

The Personnel Committee for the Town of Dayton will hold a Personnel Committee Meeting on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 12:00 pm, at the Town Municipal Building at 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia 22821. 

The Finance Committee for the Town of Dayton will hold a Finance Committee Meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 12:00 pm, at the Town Municipal Building at 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia 22821. 

The Infrastructure Committee for the Town of Dayton will hold a Finance Committee Meeting on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 12:00 pm, at the Town Municipal Building at 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia 22821. 

Dayton Planning Commission meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. as needed.

The Town Council for the Town of Dayton will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, 5/16/2019 beginning at 8:00 a.m. for personnel matters related to the search for a new Town Superintendent. The Special Meeting will be held in the Assembly Room at the Dayton Municipal Building, 125 Eastview Street, Dayton.
